Grow FAQs
-
How do I book onto an experience?
We have an easy online booking system and you can pay effortlessly by Pay Pal, it’s that easy. You will also get an email to remind you of the classes you have booked so you don’t miss out.
-
Do I need to bring anything with me?
If you need to bring anything specific, we will let you know on the details for individual experiences and sessions.
For grow baby massage, please bring a towel for your baby and a cushion for you to kneel on. Grow provides the baby massage oil and baby massage mats for use in the class.
For grow baby yoga, we will provide the yoga mats for use in the class, please bring a cushion with you to kneel on and wear comfortable clothing.
-
What should my baby or child wear to grow experiences?
Parents and children should wear comfortable play clothes. For grow curious babies and grow curious toddlers please dress your child in old clothes or ones that you don’t mind getting dirty.
-
How big are your experiences?
Our Grow experiences are limited depending on the size of the room, some experiences such as baby massage are groups of no more than eight babies and their parent or carer to ensure you receive the support and attention you deserve.
-
Can I take photos of my baby or child?
We ask that parents don’t take photos during sessions, not everyone wants their child to be in other people’s photos for a number of reasons, please respect their right to privacy.
-
What should I do if my baby or child is sick?
Please bring only healthy babies or toddlers to a session. Your child should remain at home if he or she has had a fever, vomited, or had diarrhoea within the past 24 hours or if s/he is exhibiting contagious cold symptoms (usually during the first few days of a cold.). If you see another child with a runny nose or cough, do not automatically assume the child is contagious. Allergy symptoms can resemble cold symptoms.
-
What If my baby doesn’t want to join in?
At Grow we let your baby or child be the guide. At this early age, not participating in an activity is entirely appropriate as they will be observing what’s going on around. As with anything new it often takes a few weeks for your baby or child to settle in, and it is not expected that they will want to join in with everything straight away or be able to concentrate for the full session to begin with. We encourage your baby or toddler to join in but we will never force them to participate, rather we feel that your baby or toddler should be able to join the activities at his or her own pace.
-
Are your experience leaders trained?
Our Grow leaders have been trained to a high standard and have many years’ experience of the early years and child development and are qualified in baby massage and baby yoga.
-
Do you offer a discount or concessions?
Yes we do, please see the individual experience for details. This could be a siblings or block booking discount.
-
I have twins or triplets; can I still join in?
Yes, our experienced leaders are on hand to support you and you only have to pay for one baby or toddler, please let us know when you book.
-
What if I no longer want to attend after signing up?
If you feel that once you have started a course it’s not for you, please talk to our experience leader.
